There’s a famous saying, “If you took all the money in the world and divided it up equally among everybody— it would soon all be back in the same pockets.”

Consider this fact: 70% of lottery winners go broke within a few years.

Why does this happen?

Because although their bank accounts show millions, their personal development hasn’t caught up.

The major key to building a fortune is you. Income rarely exceeds personal development.

Success is not something you pursue. It’s something you attract.

Success is looking for a good place to stay. And it seeks those who’ve prepared themselves to receive it.

So instead of going after it, you work on yourself.

Let’s say you’re working a 9-5.

The major question to ask isn’t “What am I getting paid here?”

The question is “What am I becoming here?”

True happiness isn’t about what you get. It’s about what you become.

If you work hard at your job, you can make a living.

If you work hard on yourself, you can make a fortune.

You can be a hard worker. But don’t be a hard worker on your job. Be a hard worker on yourself.

By working harder on yourself, you become more valuable to the marketplace.

You will dynamically change your income.

The benefits extend far beyond economics when you focus on becoming the best version of yourself.

You start earning equity in terms of personal fulfillment, joy, and a sense of purpose.

You weren’t put on this earth to work like a cog in a machine. You were put on this earth to improve yourself so you can add value to the world.
