Today’s topic comes from Gary Keller.

Gary Keller is the founder of Keller Williams. He’s a speaker and author of the best-selling book The ONE Thing (and many others).

The ONE Thing teaches us that focusing on one important task at a time will lead to big success.

Figure out the ONE thing which, by doing it, everything else becomes easier or unnecessary.

The key to achieving extraordinary results is to narrow your concentration to ONE Thing.

So how do you figure out that ONE Thing?

Figure out your personal life’s mission

No amount of money will make you happy if you don't have a personal life mission. Nothing will be enough.

Therefore, focusing on a personal life mission gives you a sense of purpose and a clear path to follow.

Then you can choose your ONE Thing based on your overarching life’s mission.

People who have a clear purpose in their life will have a direction to channel their efforts effectively.

For example, my life’s mission was to achieve financial independence so I could build the life I wanted and escape the job I wasn’t passionate about.

And now that I’ve achieved financial independence, I’ve shifted my life mission from achieving it myself to helping others achieve it.

Having a mission gives you a clear goal. It helps you stay on track when you make choices about your time and energy.

By keeping your mission in mind, you can make better investment decisions, manage your time well, and avoid distractions.

When you find your personal mission and make decisions based on your ONE Thing, the universe will conspire to help you.

So, find out your mission and make it your "ONE Thing.”
