5 Tips to get you in the right mindset to crush your weekend

Yo yo!

Today, I wanted to do something a little different. Here are 5 quick bite-sized pieces of advice that I’ve had on my mind recently. Hopefully, one of these helps you out this weekend!

1. Work for equity and knowledge. Not for just money. Nobody wants a dead-end job just so they can pay the bills and get 2 vacation weeks a year.

2. Focus on getting to first base. Not trying to hit a home run. When you are getting started with real state investing, it's better for you to take action to get the right experience than to try to hit it out of the park.

3. Become a better sales person. Learn how to sell because you become a better communicator and get better at working with people. Influence and sales are in every part of life, so you may as well get good at it.

4. You have to decide what your standards are and then, surround yourself with people who have those standards. I wanted to become financially free and a millionaire, so I surrounded myself with those people. It was only a matter of time before I became one myself (even though it took several years).

5. Focus on your vision, not your current circumstances. We all have obstacles but we don't have to let those obstacles define us. We don't have to be a victim of our circumstances. Change the meaning of your current situation. It's as simple as asking "why is this happening FOR me" instead of "why is this happening TO me". When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
